I've got a pretty good connection and will seed this torrent for some time. Hope this will help.

PS: But for now d/l speed is ~20kb/s, it will take some time...

Well, you can only download as fast as I can upload. :)

Seeding will help, but we should only need it for a few days until we get some comments, and then we can move on to the next chunk. Lord willing, in the end everything will be combined and the current torrent replaced.

My main question right now is about numbering format. I'm using the MA format, "Land [1]", but I wonder what other apps expect to see. Is there any reason not to use my original format of "Land 1"?

<edit> PS This process could be done in hours instead of weeks. How? If I posted a text list of the collection, it could be downloaded almost instantly and reviewed, and the whole torrent could be tweaked. So why am I using this slow laborious bandwidth and time wasting process? Because no one will read a text list. I've been fighting it for years but have to concede the fact.

Well, I think we can assume the core sets and expansions are complete can't we? It seems like the thing to focus on is the FNM and other sets constantly being printed.

If you post your text, I'll parse it against the Gatherer Downloader result set, which is in turn parsed directly from Wizards. That way we can confirm spellings and set completeness. That said, I can only cross-check the sets Gatherer actually provides. Also promos, inserts cannot be verified this way.

Awesome, see attached.

BTW, all the fulls are coming from the MA torrent, so whatever is missing from that I will need, including all crops.
They don't have the .full extension but I'll probably add that back.
I'm using all three letter set codes, no more two letter codes.
I may eventually remove brackets from numbers.

Is it possible to conduct a poll on slightly magic, to see how many people use the pics for each purpose? I think the images should be formatted toward the most popular use.

I'm not sure how accurate a poll could be. For example a lot of people here use Forge, but I think in the community at large (outside CCGHQ) MWS would still be the primary use for these.

Also, the HQ pics tend to be repurposed by each dev. depending on which cards their app currently supports. Basically what we need is one interested person to represent each app, and to speak up. It doesn't make sense for one of us to spend lots of time doing research when there are users here already intimately familiar with their favorite app and already posessing the knowledge we need.

Attached is the Expansions List. GH is using a format here I don't understand:

Mountain [1].jpg
Mountain [1a].jpg
Mountain [2].jpg
Mountain [2a].jpg

Also, flip cards use an underscore: Fire_Ice

The problem with that is you would split the pool of seeders. With one torrent you have way more seeds, and anyway people can pick and choose what they want.

ZEN had those full art lands. [1] Is the normal land [1a] is the full art land.

instead of one torrent by game why not do 1 bat renamer file by game.
so you'll have the whole magic set picture, you launch the bat renammer file for the game of your choise, and it's generate the needed folder/name.
this will just add some Mo to the final pack and will not be too hard to do once you'll know how each software use card's name
